<p>Located near the foothills of the southern edge of the Santa Ana Mountains, Murrieta Valley High School was founded in 1990 as the first comprehensive high school in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District. A California Distinguished School, it is home to an award-winning marching band and a renowned choir, and, recently, it became an International Baccalaureate World School.</p>
